Avery and Cora had their last day of school and report card day. Both girls had excellent report cards and Miss Cora ended up receiving a 98% in First grade reading! (I can't recall if I've shared the news about my 'smarty-pants' Cora. Earlier in the school-year, she tested well in reading and was promoted from her Kindergarten reading, to the top FIRST grade reading class!!!)
Last day of Kindergarten!
Do you think Avery is sad about her last day of school? :)
All smiles with the anticipation of summer vacation....
Both were anxiously awaiting the bus.
Avery and Cora seem to have a mile-long list of all they want to do over summer break. I can't think that we will accomplish everything, but I'll let them dream for now......
Brock is doing OK. He had a rough last-week of school. He came down with a bad tummy-bug and missed a couple days. The boy had me on pins and needles just trying to have him keep all his medications down! Wow. That surely added a few more gray hairs and wrinkles...........
The Lamictal is still attempting to control Brock's seizures. It has been awhile since he had a seizure greater than 10 seconds, but they are still occuring frequently. We are just about at the halfway point of his prescribe dose. I really feel like it is helping, but the silly seizures are just so stubborn.
Below, are just a few of the many pictures I took of Brock in his "new" swing. The swing is just on loan from a friend of mine. Brock adores it and I would love to get him his own, but.......maybe not just yet as it has a hefty pricetag! I was tempted to somehow upload all the pictures I took of Brock in this swing "photo shoot." When I cliked through them it was like a cartoon flip-book! You could see Brock animated with each click. LOL.
I just loved this picture with Brock looking so alert and sitting up like a big boy!
The expression of pure joy!
Until next time........................................
