Maybe I can't say annual, but.....we have done it now for at least 3 years. ;) (In year's past, we had ABC in Illinois pullovers. This year I snagged a great deal from Old Navy in the same ORANGE and NAVY team colors.)
Our sugar maple wasn't in full color, but I had to take advantage of the weather while we had a window of opportunity to be outside. It has been rainy and today the WIND is incredible! There have been gusts reported up to 65 mph! Truly NOT a good day to be out. In fact, Avery was in tears this morning when it was time to board the bus. She did not want to go outside! I had already loaded Brock for school into his van, and he was laughing at the wind blowing in his face. I actually wondered if we were in a scene from Wizard of Oz?!?! Avery agreed to go out if I walked with her and Cora. Thankfully, I was able to anchor them down and no one become airborne. ha!
Triple trouble with Peanut taking a roll
Now, Peanut got in line
Of course we had to snap some pics on the straw bales. They are not in ABC order, but Cora is doing great helping her big bro. I love this picture!
All smiles from Avery
Oh my boy!!! He just looks so proud of himself here---and rightfully so! He has been having such a good stretch of days.
Cora Belle had a few smiles in between the attitudes. ;)
Brock wanted to 'hug' his sisters when they sat next to him, however he has a tendency to get a little rough with his love taps. He was almost wrestling the girls and at one point he was even grabbing the mums and decided to give them a taste. Brock was just too funny during this little photo shoot and I had to choose from the 40 different pictures I took!
Things as of late have been fairly good. I always enjoy some boring time with no sickness and no doctor appointments. This afternoon we have Parent/Teacher conferences on Avery and Cora. I'll have to see if I should believe each of them that they are doing good in class.
Tomorrow, the girls have their Halloween parade and parties at school. I'll try to get some pictures of my little pirate gal and punk witch. I will be helping in Cora's room and running over to Avery's class when I can.
Friday, Brock gets to dress up. I still don't know for sure what he will go with for his costume so I'll let that be a surprise.
Presently, we are in the midst of starting some house renovations to accommodate Brock. It has been a drawn out process trying to get this old house of ours to cooperate. Weather has also slowed down progress, but one of these days I won't have to carry my big boy up 15 stairs to and from bed and he will have a roll in shower! One of these days.........
