A little reprieve?

I haven't updated in awhile.....but, that is a good thing! I have been enjoying a little reprieve here lately it seems. Brock hasn't had doctor appointments for a couple weeks and he has been doing pretty well.

He did have a couple days where he was under the weather with a tummy bug or something. He was very sleepy and nauseous, which led him to 3 seizures in one day.... However, that was fast and furious and it left him within a day or so. I am slightly concerned with something that I feel may be a seizure (rhythmic eye movement that is different then his nystagmus), but I'm not acting on it just yet. Sunday morning I plan on getting Brock's labs drawn and see what his levels look like.

Avery and Cora are busy with Kindergarten. They are doing great and it was proven when I saw their mid-term reports. Cora is excelling a little more than Avery, but Cora has the bad attitude about homework! Funny how Cora is the one with homework and Avery seems to luck out. ;)

Thursday, Avery exited the school bus in tears and panic! She was so upset, Cora had to answer my question of what was wrong. Turned out, Miss Ave left her glasses on her classroom table. I immediately phoned the elementary and asked them to keep the glasses in the office until Friday. Oops. There was no school Friday due to a teacher's institute and of course no school Monday for Columbus day. So...................I loaded up Brock and the girls and scurried in to the Elementary. I suggested Avery go in by herself and get her glasses from the office, and you would have thought I was asking her to jump in to a pit of fire. She became so upset, I gave in and just left Cora and Brock while we ran in. Phew. All is well that ends well.

As I said, Friday there was no school for Avery and Cora, but Brock's school was in session. The girls helped me run some errands, then they spent some B-day cash, got hair cuts, AND even got to visit Brock at his new school. Talk about a busy day of running! Not to mention all the photo opps I missed. :( Avery and Cora had a blast seeing all of Brock's stuff at school. We met with the teachers, helpers and fellow students. What an awesome place. Brock is just loving it everyday and doing fabulously!

The recent summer-like weather here is very unusual. It is October 9th and 88 degrees as I type! The only issue I have with the temps is that I had already packed up the trio's summer clothes. Mornings are chilly, but then we are sweating by afternoon......

Not much else to mention. I just wanted to offer a quick update.
I hope each ABC fan is doing well.
