Avery Day Observed 2011

Avery Day 2011 was a bit different than previous years.... Avery's coming home day is November 29th. However, that was the day of brother bear's surgery! What to do, what to do??? My idea was to celebrate the weekend before and call it Avery Day, Observed.
It worked well for Avery as she was happy to have a Saturday celebration instead of a school day. :)

At Avery's request, I made a "pink, stacked-up cake, with Littlest Pet Shop cats." Chocolate cake with strawberry frosting=yummy!

Who likes pink? Avery Rose, of course. Pink roses and all......

Sister Cora loves to share the spotlight.

All in all, it was a great day. For her Avery Day gifts, she received a Rose Splendor Barbie, a pink shirt with cats on it, and a book. She requested KFC for her meal and we spent the day watching movies.
