Typically in July we are complaining of heat and humidity. Not the case today. Brrr. Not to mention cloudy....... So, what to do on such a Saturday? Pick green beans of course! Brock went down for a nap and the girls and I picked and snapped beans. Quite the experience for Avery and Cora. They loved it. I bet Cora said about 4-5 times "this is so much fun!" Who would have thought? Wonder if they will feel the same way in a few years when I am asking them to help....... Anyway, check out the video of my bean snapping buddies. Let's hope they are equally excited when we have green beans for supper. :)

- These ABC triplets were born 9/28/04, 12 wks early. Avery weighed in at 2 lbs 9 oz., Cora 2 lbs 1 oz., and little Brock 1 lb 11 oz.. The girls each had several preemie issues, but they faired quite well. Brock however had the toughest time. He suffered a grade 4 brain hemmorage on the left side, and a grade 3 on the right. He had seizures, developed hydrocephalus, required heart surgery, and had an IV line infiltrate which led to necrosis (loss) of his left hand fingertips,not to mention numerous other issues. He also has been diagnosed with optic nerve atrophy in which he has virtually no vision except some light perception. All 3 are miracles in and of themselves, yet Brock overcame a 1% chance of making it to be with his sisters today! Brock proved that doctors only know what the textbooks tell them and my little man didn't read the books! He continues to amaze us with his abilities and charm us with his personality. We are so blessed to have our 3 little ones and hope and pray for continued progress and good health.

Yumm, green beans! Love those things, along with peas. They look so cute snapping them. As far as the weather...I am liking it. LOL. Less skin to show.
If only I could send some of my 115° heat to you and you could send some of your 65° cool to me! Hawaii's weather would have nothing on us (except the ocean)!!
How cute is that video. Sure wish I could share some of those FRESH beans!
