Just had to comment that today is beautiful! Sunny, low humidity.....I'll take an entire summer of days like these please.
Brock had an appointment Monday afternoon with the ENT. Apparently there is nothing truly "wrong" with his ear. However, there is still old dried blood junk in there that is likely causing Brock some discomfort. I am guessing that he has a deep itch he just can't scratch---that would drive anyone crazy, right? A week of mineral oil is the recommendation and go back for a check up. I suggested we just replace the tube and be done, but doc says that could cause more complications...... So I will stop playing ENT and listen to the "expert". A week of a slimy ear I guess.
Also I just had to share some stories from this morning that just made me realize that kids really do say the darndest things! First off I have a little fashion critic that made me actually change my clothes this morning before I took the kids to summer school. I initially had on a plain coral t-shirt with adidas like capris. Cora said "Mom, you kinda look like you have pajamas on" Can't have a 3 yr old embarassed of her mom already can I?
The next story occured during our ride. Brock was doing a typical pose with his head down and 2 hands in his mouth.....Avery yelled "Mom, Brock is asleep already", I said no "he's just praying" : ) Cora chimed in and said "Mom, maybe he is praying he can walk....." I was overwhelmed by her deep thoughts. These kids are something aren't they?
