Five years ago on November 29, 2004, I was able to bring home my "first-born" ---Baby A.
The triplets were born September 28th, but each came home from the NICU on different days. Each get their own special celebration and Sunday was Avery Day!!! She selected Chinese food to eat for dinner and received a few gifts. Avery day was a success!

Avery Rose gets a rose on her special day.

Mommy made a vanilla cake with cherry frosting. (Redi-whip in a can made up for the gel icing I thought I had)

Cora couldn't resist sharing the spotlight. She had a tough time with Avery getting all the attention, but she will have her day in about a week.

Over the weekend, Jason and I worked on getting Christmas card pics taken of the kiddos. Oh, how I am so grateful to be in the digital age. 3 separate sessions and over 300 pictures later, I was able to get some worthy of a card. The cards have been designed and ordered! Phew! Brock is feeling better, but he was still a major challenge to get good pictures. I bet 200 shots were just taken of Brock or with Brock. It didn't help that my camera was acting up either.
It is a relief just to have that checked off my list. Now I just wait and prepare for the day I will have to label and stamp 200 cards...........
Until next time!
