Brock is doing better with each passing day. His pain is much more controlled and he can go longer at night without needing his meds! (wooHoo! I got 5 hrs of sleep the other night!!!)
Brock is very frustrated with his casts however. It is quite pitiful to watch him on the floor. He was always one to roll over and do is crawling maneuvers.....now he tries so hard and then the heavy casts just flop over with a thud. Bless his heart he still can move across the floor, albeit slow and awkward. My thought is that he is doing some strength training so to speak now, so watch out when the casts come off----he just may be lightning fast on the floor! ;)
Sunday was a hot day and I finally convinced Jason to make the tire swing that (I) the girls always wanted. They loved it, but I'm now not so fond of the black marks that the old tire leaves on their clothing..... Oh well, the good with the bad.
Here is the 'new' swing. How's that for recycling?
Brock was content just hanging out while the swing was constructed. The recent hot weather is not the best for these casts, but we are on the countdown to June 9th when he gets his shorter ones.
