Lawsuit perhaps? LOL

I just need to know who to blame here. I want to sue the stupid makers of food packages. You can't believe how hard they make my life here with my silly girls!
This happens all the time, but case in point tonight....... Jason is working late and Avery decided she wanted a waffle. (Sunday night dinners are sometimes interesting here) Out of the freezer, she pulls out the fancy Great Value brand of frozen waffles and exclaims "I want that MOM!" So far, so good right? It all went down hill after the waffle popped out of the toaster...... She said "NOT LIKE THAT!" After some tears and some yelling (from Avery) I realized that she wanted her waffle to look EXACTLY like the ones on the box---with a pat of butter, syrup, AND red raspberries! OK, so I am working with the situation and trying to remain calm. This happens with Cora too and they always tell me that food has to be a certain way "because it says so on the package"
I feel quite proud of myself because I was able to do the butter and the syrup, but I can't just pull raspberries out of thin air! Avery insisted that I just "go shopping" for some NOW. Sweet innocent minds.......



After all that effort, Avery wouldn't have anything to do with her waffle. Cora woke up from a late nap and ate it! All was well in the world until she found out there was maple syrup on it---Cora hates syrup.....so she says, but she consumed over half of it before she made a fuss.
Avery has been having crying fits all afternoon. When it is like this I always say she "didn't get her nap out"---meaning that she did take a nap, but she never quite wakes up! CRABBY girl and soooo dramatic. This mama don't like drama! LOL


Brock is on his best behavior today. What a good boy. Tomorrow he plays hookie from school and has a follow-up appointment with the ENT doctor. I hope his ears and tubes are both doing well. I really don't want him to face another surgery anytime soon. Cross fingers please! : )
